This area of Washington is much warmer and dryer than Seattle and September often still feels like Summer. However, once the sun sets, it cools down dramatically…and at the end of the day, it’s still Washington which means that there’s always a chance of rain.

Attire

We have no hard and fast rules about guest’s attire, but note that the wedding party will be wearing dark green.

While the ceremony will probably be sunny and warm, we highly encourage you to take advantage of the break in between the ceremony and reception to grab an extra layer and/or a comfy pair of shoes, or even to change completely. Our reception location is a campsite, after all. In addition to dust and gravel, we’ll also be having a couple campfires going so we understand if our guests opt to dress more casually.

We want you to stay warm though, so we’ll also be providing blankets and space heaters for everyone’s comfort! We’ll also have covered tents on the off chance we get some rain.
